tech_76e3bbf0 If I were to attempt to get paid for diagnostic time with Hyundai I need to document every test, how long it takes, where I'm testing, what I'm testing, what I'm removing, if Op codes exist for it they need to be noted. They refer to it as ATT/NTT time, and chances are it will just be declined, reduced or charged back later and puts you at a higher risk of the dealership being audited. if you use a scan tool you can possibly get a 0.3 scan tool op code no questions asked, however that goes away if you replace the part you suspect because "diagnostic time is built into replacement". Nobody wants an audit because I might do my job great but the other guys might suck at stories and cause the dealership to be charged back thousands of dollars so upper management hates it and tells us not to do ATT/NTT sheets, they always threaten audits.
